The Artful Blogger

Nov 21, 2024

The Artful Dodger was an expert thief from Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver Twist.

The Artful Blogger—that’s us, incidentally—is another thief of sorts. What we try to lift, or boost is, not wallets or phones, of course, but morale with hopefully entertaining and one-of-a-kind blog posts, which mostly center on EpicentRx and lead EpicentRx therapies, RRx-001 (nibrozetone) and AdAPT-001.

We also pick locks, molecular ones, with our key-like therapies, RRx-001 and AdAPT-001, that open doors to new treatment options for several diseases and conditions of severe unmet medical need. These diseases and conditions include sarcoma and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) for AdAPT-001; these are severe oral mucositis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)/motor neuron disease (MND), Parkinson’s, central nervous system (CNS) toxicity, and endometriosis for RRx-001.

Stickups are inevitably involved, of course. We stick up and advocate for patients. That’s what we do.

Trials are inevitable. The Artful Dodger stood trial; we run them. Back in the day, convicts were transported from England to penal colonies in Australia. Likewise, we’ll do a stretch Down Under because that’s where close collaborator, Dr. Richard Gordon, an Associate Professor at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia, lives and works. 🦘🐨🪃

As the Aussies might say, when you choose this life, that’s fair dinkum.
