In honor of International Women’s Day, which occurred last Friday March 8th, we recognize and applaud the women we work closely with, none of them named Kim, incidentally, who head up EpicentRx Team Possible and who make Remission Possible, the tagline that is featured on our redesigned website.
Not only is it Remission Possible but, dare we say, Remission Probable with lead EpicentRx therapies, RRx-001 (nibrozetone) and AdAPT-001. The term remission in this context refers to temporary or permanent recovery from conditions of severe unmet need, like oral mucositis, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiopulmonary diseases, and endometriosis, as we have previously written about here.
Remission from disease, when it occurs, is a tremendous win for patients, their families, society, and EpicentRx Team Possible led by M Possible. The M is for Meaghan Stirn.
And what about the men on Team Possible, the ‘Him-Possibles’, including CEO Dr. Tony Reid?
To quote the character, Ron Stoppable, who tags along with Kim Possible as her helper and sidekick, “Sidekicks need to know their place… right?”
